Isabel Edmonds: Designing the Future of Brand Identity at Threads

At Threads Uniform Agency, branding isn’t just about logos and colors—it’s about crafting a visual identity that leaves a lasting impression. No one understands this better than Isabel Edmonds, a Brand Developer who blends creativity, strategy, and industry expertise to create standout uniform collections. Whether she’s researching client brands, designing custom apparel, or fine-tuning the smallest branding details, Isabel brings a unique vision to every project.
A Day in the Life of a Brand Developer
No two days are the same for Isabel, which is part of what she loves most about her role. Her mornings start with emails and project planning in Monday.com, ensuring she’s aligned with client priorities. From there, her day may take her down a creative rabbit hole—researching a client’s brand identity, industry trends, and the competitor landscape to develop uniform collections that truly reflect their image.
“For domestic projects, I carefully select apparel based on client needs—everything from color and fabric to price and branding. For larger-scale import projects, I get to unleash my creativity by designing one-of-a-kind uniforms in Illustrator and Photoshop,” Isabel explains.
“Collaboration is key, so I work closely with both corporate customers and our internal team to ensure everything aligns from concept to production.”
Bringing Brands to Life Through Design
For Isabel, the design process is the heart of her work. She thrives on translating a company’s identity into a uniform collection that not only represents the brand but makes employees feel confident and professional.
“I love creating unique looks that help our clients make a memorable impression,” she says. “One small branding detail that makes a huge impact? Adding secondary company colors into uniform accents. It’s such a simple touch, but it makes the design more distinct and recognizable.”
Finding Inspiration & Staying Ahead of Trends
Inspiration for new branding concepts comes from everywhere—industry trends, vendor collaborations, fashion publications, and even retail stores. Isabel also attends industry and fashion conferences to stay ahead of evolving styles.
“To keep our presentations fresh and relevant, I continuously research new trends, engage with vendors, and analyze what’s happening in retail and design,” she explains. “It ensures our clients get forward-thinking, impactful branding solutions.”
And when creativity needs a boost? A walk outside or some music does the trick. Isabel’s playlist is as diverse as her projects—indie rock, hardcore punk, hip-hop, dance pop, and, lately, the new Wicked soundtrack on repeat!
Dream Designs & Unexpected Fun
Her role is full of surprises. Beyond the creative process, she loves attending industry events to explore the latest trends, expanding her skill set, and finding new ways to push the boundaries of brand storytelling through uniforms.
Why Threads? A Culture of Innovation & Sustainability
For Isabel, working at Threads is more than just a job—it’s about being part of a company that values family, innovation, and sustainability.
“Threads provides a supportive, family-friendly environment, which I appreciate as a mother of two,” she shares. “I also love that the company embraces innovation and sustainability—values that align with my passion for affordable, eco-friendly fashion, which I even explored in my MBA thesis.”
With a keen eye for design, strategy, and brand identity, Isabel Edmonds is shaping the future of uniform branding at Threads—one innovative, high-impact design at a time.
